VOICES Project
The VOICES Project collaborates with our Nicholtown community to promote racial equity and remove systemic barriers by bringing together Nicholtown’s many “voices” to decide how best to solve problems. The VOICES Project will collect data from residents and community partner organizations to understand community safety needs, identify innovative solutions, refine our readiness to act, and evaluate the impact of interventions.
Our Mission
The Nicholtown VOICES team is committed to making a more cohesive, connected, and safe community. With that aim in mind, the VOICES Project will include as many participants as possible and will operate transparently. Our goal is to improve community safety for Nicholtown residents by removing barriers to community empowerment and by creating supportive connections to necessary services. We value collaborative leadership, community service, integrity, accountability, mutual respect and trust, and organizational-system collaboration.
